چکیده
Oil-water emulsion formation is common in oil fields. The a problem which causes an increase production costs and decrease quality. Therefore, demulsifier formulation needed to overcome these problems. use of household waste, particularly disposable diapers, promising alternative. One the substances contained diapers sodium polyacrylate super absorbent polymer, known as polyacrylate. substance takes 450 years 500 decompose sea on land. Sodium has inert hydrophilic properties with working principle absorbing trapping water expected reduce content oil-water emulsions are mostly produced from old wells. In this experiment, were used separate light crude samples tested brine 20% 70% salinity at 50oC. Centrifuge was speed up demulsification process within 1 3 minutes. It can be concluded that diaper waste emulsion. addition, by polyacrylae more stable higher compared 20%.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Demulsification of crude oil-in-water emulsions by means of fungal spores
The present feature describes for the first time the application of spores from Aspergillus sp. IMPMS7 to break out crude oil-in-water emulsions (O/W). The fungal spores were isolated from marine sediments polluted with petroleum hydrocarbons. The spores exhibited the ability to destabilize different O/W emulsions prepared with medium, heavy or extra-heavy Mexican crude oils with specific gravi...
متن کاملEffect of the Structure of Commercial Poly(ethylene Oxide-b-propylene Oxide) Demulsifier Bases on the Demulsification of Water-in-crude Oil Emulsions: Elucidation of the Demulsification Mechanism
Water-in-crude oil emulsions are formed during petroleum production and asphaltenes play an important role in their stabilization. Demulsifiers are added to destabilize such emulsions, however the demulsification mechanism is not completely known. In this paper, the performances of commercial poly(ethylene oxide-b-propylene oxide) demulsifiers were studied using synthetic water-in-oil emulsions ...
